Directed by the Welsh BAFTA-winning director, Chris Crow (The Lighthouse – 2016), the project aims to not only celebrate a pivotal moment in the history of Wales but to create our own history in securing a Royal Prerogative of Mercy in the name of Richard Lewis (Penderyn). The production team is currently in the process of raising finance for the project and has secured private equity investment from 3 Executive Producers in Brian Jones MBE (Castell Howell Foods), Professor Sir Christopher Evans OBE (EDX Medical) and one anonymous investor. A dialogue for additional funding is also ongoing with the Senedd body Creative Wales and The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Principal photography on the project will begin in 2026.
A deep longing for Wales and everything that is Welsh.
